Vacunas Pfizer serán aplicadas a mujeres embarazadas
Las vacunas Pfizer contra el Covid-19 que llegarán a Nicaragua en los próximos días serán aplicadas a las mujeres embarazadas y para menores de 12 años con enfermedades de alto riesgo, informó este jueves la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo.
Rosario expresó que se está pendiente de la llegada de 233 mil 470 dosis de Pfizer el 11 de octubre.
“En coordinación y consulta con los organismos pertinentes, las autoridades de salud han decidido que esas vacunas Pfizer será para mujeres embarazadas y para atender a niños mayores de 12 que tengan enfermedades de alto riesgo, que tengan padecimiento de alto riesgo”, dijo Rosario.
La dirigente agradeció la donación de las vacunas contra Covid-19, para continuar protegiendo y avanzando con quienes más lo necesitan, en este caso las mujeres embarazadas y los niños y niñas que tengan enfermedades de alto riesgo que deben ser protegidos.
Rosario informó que si se suman los envíos que están pendientes de llegar y las gestiones de confirmación, a mediados o finales de octubre se estarían contabilizando 1 millón 540 mil 090 dosis de vacunas.
“Estamos hablando de AstraZeneca, Pfizer, y todo esto va sumando y para nosotros es una alegría poder informarlo y poder garantizar que vamos adelante protegiéndonos en una ejemplar jornada de vacunación nacional que se va desarrollando día a día en distintos lugares, con un pueblo consciente, responsable, que va llegando, que va acudiendo voluntariamente a recibir su vacuna y además continuar porque continuamos acatando todas las medidas y recomendaciones de las autoridades nacionales e internacionales para avanzar frente a la pandemia”, señaló Murillo.
