Más allá de la ideología, vamos al reencuentro nacional para derrotar la pobreza

El presidente de Nicaragua, comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra, ratificó su compromiso y responsabilidad de garantizar “como nicaragüenses y herederos de Carlos” la estabilidad económica social del país.

Durante el acto en conmemoración del 44 aniversario de la cañída en combate del fundador del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, Comandante en Jefe Carlos Fonseca, el Presidente Ortega prometió que su gobierno continuará trabajando en beneficio del pueblo y de asegurar la paz.

El líder del FSLN resaltó la importancia de mantener vivo el pensamiento de Carlos Fonseca, cuya médula era combinar la teoría con la práctica revolucionaria.

“Carlos tuvo el genio, la capacidad, (porque era) un estudioso, que supo combinar la teoría con la práctica revolucionaria. Porque solo la teoría de poco vale, y generalmente a veces la teoría, cuando el teórico se queda solo en la teoría, termina confundido o confundiendo. De ahí la importancia de ir uniendo permanentemente la teoría con la práctica revolucionaria”, comentó.

“Carlos está presente en todas estas las luchas que estamos librando con trabajo, con educación, con salud, con el acompañamiento al pueblo, al trabajador, en los momentos difíciles, poniendo en práctica la solidaridad, que es el amor, la ternura de los pueblos, como decía Tomás. La solidaridad es lo más valioso que tenemos los nicaragüenses”, agregó.

Reencuentro para progresar

En particular, el Presidente Ortega hizo especial énfasis en la importancia de la unidad de todos los sectores económicos y sociales del país para eliminar la pobreza en Nicaragua, tal y como ocurrió entre 2007 y 2018, antes de la sangrienta aventura somocista que causó muerte y destrucción en todo el país.

Lo más terrible fue lo de abril, dijo el mandatario, “porque significó una puñalada en el corazón, en el alma de este pueblo que venía disfrutando del crecimiento económico, de los beneficios sociales y aquí lo que vieron fue sembradores de terror”.

Luego, continuó, hemos venido avanzando, recuperando. Por el daño que produjeron a la economía y a las familias nicaragüenses, “lograron arrastrar algunas familias, o partes de las familias, confundidas por el uso masivo de las redes sociales; lograron confundir a las familias, y ahora estamos en un proceso de reencuentro”, en el trabajo, en la salud, en la educación, en la producción.

“Reencontrarnos con todos los sectores sociales y económicos, más allá que cada quien tenga su propio, de que cada quien tenga su propio pensamiento político, su propia ideología. Reencontrarnos para el bien de todos, porque está más que demostrado –y lo hemos demostrado aquí en Nicaragua– que cuando nos reencontramos todos”, el país sale adelante, dijo el Presidente.

Recordó que “aunque nos hemos enfrentado antes, desde la época de Somoza, y que nos enfrentamos en el período de los 80”, cuando a partir de 2007 “nos reencontramos, hicimos esa gran unidad de la nación con diferentes sectores económicos y sensibles del país, entonces, ahí se demostró la unidad de todos, sin poner condiciones políticas”.

Explicó que en esta nueva etapa, “que hemos venido recorriendo, al retomar el poder por la vía electoral, ahí está el enemigo siempre, buscando como poner de rodillas al pueblo nicaragüense, buscando como destruir la unidad que logramos construir durante 12 años y que fue un ejemplo para América Latina y el Caribe, ese proceso de unidad de todos los sectores de la sociedad nicaragüenses”.

Sin embargo, agregó, “lógicamente hay minorías que no están de acuerdo con la unidad, con el avenimiento”. La unidad, dijo, significó crecimiento para la economía nicaragüense, en la educación básica, primaria, secundaria, construcción y multiplicar médicos y enfermeras “para que se le prestase un mejor servicio a las familias más humildes que son las que asisten a los dispensarios, a las clínicas, a los hospitales del estado de servicio público”.

“Es decir, venimos a cumplir con los ideales de todos nuestros héroes, que Carlos logró vislumbrar, en un nuevo momento, levantando la bandera rojinegra de nuestro General Sandino, que es la bandera que se levantó para poder rescatar del lodo de la traición y la ignominia la bandera azul y blanca de la Patria”, sentenció.

Sin imposiciones políticas ni ideológicas

Señaló que al iniciar ese gran reencuentro, “nunca se discutió, «nos vamos a unir, pero te vas a volver sandinista», o «te vas a unir y te vas a volver de otro partido político». Simplemente era hablar de temas concretos que son los que le interesan al pueblo nicaragüense: salud, educación, construcción de carretera, vivienda, etc.”.

“Unidos todos, incluso los grandes inversionistas que vienen de otros países, pero aportando a la lucha contra la pobreza, y nuestro avance fue vertiginoso. Impresionante. Nuestro crecimiento sostenible, año con año, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, crecimiento económico, aun pasando por momentos críticos como el año 2008 cuando la gran crisis en Estados Unidos y en Europa”, aseguró.

“Hasta que explotó la conspiración de los que quieren destruir y no apuestan a construir. Los que provocaron un mar de dolor, de sufrimiento, destrucción, sembraron el odio”, sentenció.

“Después del crimen que cometieron los vendepatria, promovido, organizado y financiado por el gobierno yanqui, porque así lo ha dicho abiertamente el todavía presidente de Estados Unidos, lo ha dicho abiertamente que ahí va el financiamiento y que van a buscar el derrocamiento de la hermana República Bolivariana de Venezuela y buscar como destruir y distorsionar Cuba, y seguir atacando a Nicaragua con diferentes tipos de agresiones”, expresó el mandatario nicaragüense.

También señaló que ha costado mucho avanzar “para restablecer la estabilidad en el país, porque luego vino la pandemia, y la pandemia, que lo primero que ha provocado, lo más doloroso, insustituible es la pérdida de vidas”.

A un año de las elecciones presidenciales y legislativas de 2021, Daniel anunció que se continuarán las obras de desarrollo, como la construcción de carreteras, caminos y puentes, algo que no se ha detenido “ni con el terrorismo de abril, ni la pandemia, ni el huracán”.

“Que es lo que nos inspira en esta batalla, nuestros héroes y mártires a lo largo de la historia, y nos inspira Carlos, que fue el que en compañía de otros hermanos rescató el pensamiento de Sandino, rescató el pensamiento de Zeledón, rescató el pensamiento, el ejemplo y la práctica de los héroes de San Jacinto, rescató el pensamiento de la resistencia indígena y está consolidado y fortalecido en el pueblo nicaragüense”, afirmó.

No intervenimos en asuntos internos de otro Estado

El mandatario nicaragüense recordó que, durante la ocupación de las tropas norteamericanas, con el visto bueno de los partidos políticos peleles, los marines conformaban y contaban los votos de las elecciones y que eso no sucederá nunca más.

El presidente Daniel Ortega se refirió a las elecciones de Estados Unidos, en donde se ha declarado ganador a Joe Biden. “Mientras tanto, el presidente actual, sencillamente dice que no reconoce esos resultados, bueno… ese es un problema de ellos y no nos vamos a meter a hablar de lo que es la realidad del sistema electoral de los Estados Unidos, porque ese es un problema de ellos y que ellos tienen que resolverlo”.

“Porque no nos gustaría, ni nos interesaría, como lo hacen constantemente otros países, de Europa, Estados Unidos, y algunos latinoamericanos, que se atreven a querer venir darnos lecciones”, enfatizó.

Indicó que, si el caso fuera Nicaragua “¿qué pasaría? Estarían pegando gritos en contra nuestra, (diciendo) los europeos, Estados Unidos, qué barbaridad lo que está pasando en Nicaragua no reconocen los resultados, han hecho trampa”.

Recordó el golpe de Estado que promovieron y apoyaron en Bolivia, el año pasado. Indicó que ese fue un golpe más, desvergonzado, en donde “la OEA apareció avalando el golpe y bendiciendo a los golpistas”.

Señaló que allí no hubo ni se pidieron sanciones contra los golpistas, más bien hubo reconocimiento. “Al final no querían hacer elecciones los golpistas y quedarse sin haber sido electos”.

El mandatario expresó que la presión del pueblo boliviano los obligó a hacer elecciones, y que según las proyecciones de los golpistas ellos las ganarían, “pero allí se demuestra que cuando un pueblo tiene conciencia, tiene dignidad, aún en condiciones tan desventajosas como esas, el pueblo sale a votar y sale a defender su voto y logra la victoria, como la logró el pueblo boliviano”.

Tras reseñar los resultados pavorosos de la pandemia del Covid-19 en todo el mundo, Daniel Ortega refirió que si bien en el país ha habido fallecidos por esa enfermedad, gracias a “los médicos, con todas las instituciones, hemos logrado tener un índice de mortalidad de los más bajos en el mundo. Y por eso es que tenemos que mantener normas básicas como el tapaboca, la distancia, mantener cuidado, apelar a la responsabilidad de cada familia y cuidarse porque la enfermedad anda ahí todavía”.

Beyond ideology, we are going to the national reunion to defeat poverty

“Carlos is present in all these struggles that we are waging with work, with education, with health, with the accompaniment of the people, the worker, in difficult moments, putting into practice solidarity, which is love, the tenderness of the towns, as Thomas said. Solidarity is the most valuable thing that we Nicaraguans have, ”he added.

Reunion to progress

In particular, President Ortega placed special emphasis on the importance of the unity of all the economic and social sectors of the country to eliminate poverty in Nicaragua, as happened between 2007 and 2018, before the bloody Somoza adventure that caused death and destruction across the country.

The most terrible thing was April, said the president, «because it meant a stab in the heart, in the soul of this people who had been enjoying economic growth, social benefits and here what they saw was sowers of terror.»

Due to the damage they caused to the Nicaraguan economy and families, “they managed to drag down some families, or parts of families, confused by the massive use of social networks; they managed to confuse the families, and now we are in a process of reunion ”, at work, in health, in education, in production.

“Reencounter with all social and economic sectors, beyond each person having their own, each person having their own political thought, their own ideology. To meet again for the good of all, because it is more than demonstrated –and we have demonstrated it here in Nicaragua– that when we all meet again, ”the country goes forward, said the President.

He recalled that “although we have faced each other before, since the time of Somoza, and that we faced each other in the period of the 80s”, when from 2007 “we met again, we made that great unity of the nation with different economic and sensitive sectors of the country, then, there the unity of all was demonstrated, without setting political conditions ”.

He explained that in this new stage, “which we have been going through, by retaking power through electoral channels, the enemy is always there, seeking to bring the Nicaraguan people to their knees, seeking to destroy the unity that we managed to build for 12 years and that it was an example for Latin America and the Caribbean, that process of unity of all sectors of Nicaraguan society ”.

However, he added, «logically there are minorities that do not agree with the unity, with the agreement.» The unit, he said, meant growth for the Nicaraguan economy, in basic education, primary, secondary, construction and multiplying doctors and nurses «so that a better service would be provided to the most humble families that are those who attend the dispensaries, to the clinics, to the public service state hospitals ”.

«That is, we come to fulfill the ideals of all our heroes, which Carlos managed to glimpse, in a new moment, raising the red and black flag of our General Sandino, which is the flag that was raised to be able to rescue from the mud of betrayal and the shame is the blue and white flag of the Homeland ”, he declared.

Without political or ideological impositions

He pointed out that at the beginning of that great reunion, «it was never discussed,« we are going to unite, but you are going to become a Sandinista », or» you are going to join and you are going to return from another political party. » It was simply talking about specific issues that the Nicaraguan people are interested in: health, education, road construction, housing, etc. ”.

“Everyone united, even the big investors who come from other countries, but contributing to the fight against poverty, and our progress was dizzying. Awesome. “After the crime committed by the homeland vendors, promoted, organized and financed by the Yankee government, because the still president of the United States has said so openly, he has openly said that there is the financing and that they will seek the overthrow of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and seek how to destroy and distort Cuba, and continue attacking Nicaragua with different types of aggressions, ”said the Nicaraguan president.

He also pointed out that it has cost a lot to move forward «to restore stability in the country, because then came the pandemic, and the pandemic, that the first thing that has caused, the most painful, irreplaceable thing is the loss of life.»

One year before the presidential and legislative elections of 2021, Daniel announced that development works will continue, such as the construction of highways, roads and bridges, something that has not stopped “neither with the terrorism of April, nor the pandemic, nor the hurricane ”.

We do not intervene in the internal affairs of another State

The Nicaraguan president recalled that, during the occupation of the US troops, with the approval of the pele political parties, the marines formed and counted the votes of the elections and that this will never happen again.

«Because we would not like, nor would we be interested, as other countries do constantly, in Europe, the United States, and some Latin Americans, who dare to want to come and give us lessons,» he emphasized.

He indicated that if the case were Nicaragua “what would happen? They would be screaming against us, (saying) the Europeans, the United States, what a barbarity what is happening in Nicaragua do not recognize the results, they have cheated ”.

He recalled the coup that they promoted and supported in Bolivia last year. He indicated that this was one more coup, shameless, where «the OAS appeared endorsing the coup and blessing the coup leaders.»

He pointed out that there were no sanctions against the coup leaders, nor were they requested, rather there was recognition. «In the end, the coup plotters did not want to hold elections and remain without having been elected.»

The president expressed that the pressure of the Bolivian people forced them to hold elections, and that according to the projections of the coup plotters they would win them, “but there it is shown that when a people has a conscience, they have dignity, even in such disadvantageous conditions as these. the people go out to vote and go out to defend their vote and achieve victory, as the Bolivian people did ”.

After reviewing the terrifying results of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world, Daniel Ortega said that although there have been deaths from this disease in the country, thanks to “the doctors, with all the institutions, we have managed to have an index of mortality of the lowest in the world. And that is why we have to maintain basic rules such as masking, distance, maintaining care, appealing to the responsibility of each family and taking care of ourselves because the disease is still there ”.
