Era solo una niña se seis años, cuando su padre Rufino Pérez Guzmán, fue asesinado por la guardia somocista en la Rampla, en Siuna, Caribe Norte, aquel mes de junio de 1979 pocos a pocos días del triunfo de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, junto a otros jóvenes que les fue arrebatada sus vidas.

Juana Pérez Artola, recuerda a su padre como un hombre trabajador, luchador, vendía cerdos, destazaba res y tenía una pulpería donde vendía de todo arroz frijoles, maíz, botas, zapatos de hule, y le distribuía la bota estándar a la guerrilla sandinista y por esa razón la guardia siempre lo buscaba para matarlo.

Juana Pérez Artola, nos comentó que su papa ´por eso los llevo a la finca que queda a una hora de Rosita y luego el se integro a la lucha armada, se fue junto a otros jóvenes y se integraron a la Brigada Pablo Úbeda, eso lo obligo a huir desde pequeños en la comunidad de Bambanita donde tenía la finca de su abuela.

Artola recuerda que la guardia llego a arrasar con todo lo que tenia su padre en la pulpería y se levaron todo, cuando ellos regresaron recuerdan que no encontraron nada en su casa solo un pote viejo donde su papa guardaba todas las prendas de oro que le llegaban a empeñar y con eso su mama comenzó a trabajar para darles de comer a sus hijos.

Juana Artola recuerda que una vez que triunfa la Revolución popular Sandinista, y mandan a llamar a su mama para que fura a reconocer a su papa y ella llegó a reconocerlo por las cosas de el que se encontraron.

Juana Artola recuerda que el 6 de junio de 1979 su padre fue asesinado en la Rampla, allí se encontraron mecates, bayonetas, ropa de ellos, los mecates estaban amarrados de los cargadores de los pantalones.

Fueron fusilados, las mujeres fueron violadas, les cortaron los pechos y fueron traicionados por la dueña de una de las casas donde ellos estaban escondidos.

La familia del Héroe y mártir de la Revolución, Rufino Pérez Guman, fueron su hija Juana Pérez Artola que tenía seis años, Erika del Rosario Pérez Artola tenía 5 meses, Esmeralda Pérez Artola tenía 8 años, Eugenio Rufino Pérez Artola, tenía 15 años.

Su mamá Julia Artola Jarquín tuvo que trabajar como su esposo, destazaba cerdos, hacia nacatamales y luego se dedicó a trabajar como enfermera auxiliar.

Juana Pérez Artola, quien se graduó como licenciada en enfermería también es licenciada en derecho, recuerda que la Revolución Popular Sandinista nunca los abandono, fueron pensionados hasta lograr la mayoría de edad, su hermano fue a estudiar a Cuba y cumplió con el Servicio Militar Patriótico Erika es maestra, Rufino es Técnico Industrial y esmeralda es bachiller y comerciante.

El comandante Daniel Ortega nunca los abandono a ellos, siempre tuvieron la alimentación y pensión para ellos.

Este 21 de febrero en el 89 aniversario del paso a la inmortalidad del General Agusto Cesar Sandino, el Gobierno de Nicaragua inauguro en Rosita la plaza Héroes y Mártires de la Rampla, para que permanezca siempre el recuerdo de los héroes entre ellos Rufino Pérez Guzmán.

Juana Pérez Artola told us that her father «that’s why he took them to the farm that is an hour from Rosita and then he joined the armed struggle, he went with other young people and joined the Pablo Úbeda Brigade, that forced him to flee from childhood in the community of Bambanita where he had his grandmother’s farm.

Artola remembers that the guard came to destroy everything that his father had in the grocery store and they took everything, when they returned they remember that they found nothing in his house, just an old pot where his father kept all the gold items that came to him. to pawn and with that her mother began to work to feed her children.

Juana Artola remembers that once the popular Sandinista Revolution triumphed, and they sent for her mother to go and recognize her father and she came to recognize him because of the things they found.

Juana Artola remembers that on June 6, 1979, her father was murdered on the Rampla, there they found ropes, bayonets, their clothes, the ropes were tied to the pants clips.

They were shot, the women were raped, their breasts were cut off, and they were betrayed by the owner of one of the houses where they were hiding.

The family of the Hero and martyr of the Revolution, Rufino Pérez Guman, were his daughter Juana Pérez Artola who was six years old, Erika del Rosario Pérez Artola was 5 months old, Esmeralda Pérez Artola was 8 years old, and Eugenio Rufino Pérez Artola was 15 years old.

His mother, Julia Artola Jarquín, had to work like her husband, she butchered pigs, made nacatamales, and then dedicated herself to working as an auxiliary nurse.

Juana Pérez Artola, who graduated with a nursing degree and a law degree, recalls that the Sandinista Popular Revolution never abandoned them, they were pensioned until they reached the age of majority, her brother went to study in Cuba and completed the Patriotic Military Service Erika is a teacher, Rufino is an Industrial Technician and Esmeralda is a bachelor and merchant.

Commander Daniel Ortega never abandoned them, they always had food and pension for them.

This February 21, on the 89th anniversary of the passage to immortality of General Agusto Cesar Sandino, the Government of Nicaragua inaugurated the Plaza Héroes y Mártires de la Rampla in Rosita, so that the memory of the heroes, including Rufino Pérez Guzmán, will always remain.
