Una vivienda quedó reducida a cenizas en un incendio en barrio Marco Antonio Somarriba de Siuna

Las lluvias que están cayendo en Siuna, no lograron detener la furia del fuego que redujo a cenizas una vivienda propiedad de Lidia Guardián Chavarría, 48 años, en el barrio Marco Antonio Somarriba, en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

El incendio se produjo este medio día cuando caía en Siuna una lluvia producto de la nube de Atlanta que pasa por la región, pero eso no basto para que la vivienda se quemara en su totalidad.

Los pobladores y vecino del barrio ayudaron con baldes de agua para apagar la furia del fuego, pero fue posible.
Roberto Rodas pobladores del barrio Marco Antonio Somarriba dijo que escucho una gran explosión, el creía que se trataba de un transformador de la empresa Enel, pero luego vio las llamas del incendio que tardo 15 minutos para terminar que quemarse la vivienda.

El capitán Arturo Gonzales jefe de Bomberos Unificados de Siuna, dijo que la causa del incendio es por un cortocircuito que se dio en los cables de la acometida.

Mario Pérez coordinador de Gesto de Riesgo del Gobierno Municipal de Siuna dijo que se recibió una llamada al puesto de mando de los bomberos unificados y desde ese momento se activaron las brigadas contraincendios de la localidad entre ellas las del Ejército de Nicaragua acantonadas en el Batallón Ecológico de Siuna, que fueron claves en el combate del incendio para evitar la propagación del fuego.

“Se activó el Comupred y de inmediato se hizo el combate la incendio y con ellos se evitó que las llamas se propagaran a otras viviendas” afirmo el funcionario.

Las autoridades locales llamaron a la población a tener más cuidado con las conexiones eléctricas, las mangueras de su tangue de gas, y tener cuidado con el uso de candelas y no dejar alimento cocinando cuando no hay nadie en las viviendas. Este es el segundo incendio que se registra en Siuna en lo que va del año.

The residents and neighbor of the neighborhood helped with buckets of water to put out the fury of the fire, but it was possible.

Captain Arturo Gonzales, the Siuna Unified Fire Chief, said that the cause of the fire was due to a short circuit that occurred in the connection cables.

Mario Pérez, coordinator of Risk Management of the Municipal Government of Siuna, said that a call was received to the command post of the unified firefighters and from that moment the fire brigades of the town were activated, including those of the Nicaraguan Army stationed in the Ecological Battalion of Siuna, who were key in fighting the fire to prevent the spread of fire.

«The Comupred was activated and immediately the fire was fought and with them the flames were prevented from spreading to other homes,» said the official.

The local authorities called on the population to be more careful with the electrical connections, the hoses of their gas tangue, and be careful with the use of candles and not leave food cooking when there is no one in the homes.

This is the second fire registered in Siuna so far this year.
