El primer ahogado que reportan las autoridades del Caribe Norte es un joven de 15 años que pereció en Mulukuku, donde reportan haber encontrado el cuerpo a las cuatro y media de la tarde de este viernes santo, en Mulukuku, Caribe Norte.

El adolescente fue identificado como Jonathan Martínez Castillo de 15 años, quien se sumergió a las aguas del rio Tuma, y fue arrastrado por la corriente desde las 11:30 de la mañana, por lo que amigo se dieron a la tarea de buscar el cuerpo del jovencito.

Pero fue hasta las 4:30 pm que el cuerpo fue encontrado por un grupo de jóvenes que realizaban la búsqueda desde la mañana de este viernes santo hasta que dieron con el cuerpo que fue encontrado sin vida.

De acuerdo a las autoridades el joven es originario de Jinoteg y llegaron a la comunidad de Kurrin a visitar a unos familiares.

El joven Martínez Castillo estaba nadando en el rio Tuma junto a sus cinco hermanos cuando fue arrastrado por las corrientes, sus otros hermanos fueron rescatados por un bote en tanto el joven fue encontrado muerto en horas de la tarde.

Castillo es la primera victima por sumersión que se registrar en la Costa Caribe Norte donde las autoridades han destinado personal de diferentes instituciones del Gobierno de Nicaragua para proteger la vida de los veraneantes.

Las autoridades lamentan estos hechos a pesar que se ha hecho una labor titánica para prevenir a la población a tomar las medidas de prevención y evitar meterse al agua donde hay fuertes correntadas como la del rio Tuma que es uno de los mas caudaloso que hay en la región.
