BECO seguirá garantizando seguridad a indígenas

El Ejército de Nicaragua a través de la Jefatura del Batallón Ecológico “BOSAWAS”, se reunió este pasado 27 de abril 2021, con el Gobierno Territorial Indígena Mayangna Sauni As y con la Comisión de Asuntos de Tierra, con el objetivo de exponer la situación del territorio y acordar el acompañamiento con las autoridades de la Comisión de la Madre Tierra.

Durante la reunión, el Jefe del Batallón Ecológico “BOSAWAS”, Coronel José Román Espinoza Iglesias, transmitió el saludo del Comandante en Jefe del Ejército de Nicaragua, General de Ejército Julio César Avilés Castillo, y les manifestó que seguirán trabajando para seguir fortaleciendo la seguridad, estabilidad y paz en los territorios indígenas.

Así mismo el Presidente del Gobierno Territorial Indígena, Gustavo Sebastián Lino, calificó de excelente trabajo que ha realizado el Ejército en esos territorios. «la atención que nos prestó el Ejército fue excelente…valoramos que el Ejército pudo conocer la realidad que nosotros estamos viviendo; así mismo, el Ejército se responsabilizó en acompañar en todos los trabajos que el Gobierno Territorial, la comisión y la comunidad, pudieran necesitar…”.

During the meeting, the Chief of the Ecological Battalion «BOSAWAS», Colonel José Román Espinoza Iglesias, conveyed the greeting of the Commander in Chief of the Nicaraguan Army, Army General Julio César Avilés Castillo, and told them that they will continue working to continue strengthening security , stability and peace in indigenous territories.

Likewise, the President of the Indigenous Territorial Government, Gustavo Sebastián Lino, described the Army as an excellent job in those territories. «The attention that the Army gave us was excellent … we value that the Army was able to know the reality that we are experiencing; likewise, the Army was responsible for accompanying in all the work that the Territorial Government, the commission and the community may need. … ”.
