Campeonato Nacional de Boxeo Alexis Argüello arranca el 1 de mayo

El Instituto Nicaragüense de Deportes (IND) el Movimiento Deportivo Alexis Argüello y la Comisión Nacional de Boxeo Superior, anunciaron el inicio del Campeonato Nacional de Boxeo Superior Copa Alexis Argüello, este 1 de mayo, en el que participarán unos 500 deportistas.

Durante una conferencia de prensa, expresaron que en esta nueva edición que culminará en el mes de octubre, participan 21 equipos femeninos y 21 equipos masculinos.

Milton Ruiz, de Juventud Sandinista 19 de Julio, informó que a través de las páginas oficiales del IND y del MDAA podrán conocer la cartelera boxística en cada uno de los municipios y departamentos.

“Más de 500 atletas iniciarán nuevamente esta fiesta deportiva en la que estarán conformados en cuatro grupos y nuestras familias nicaragüenses tendrán la oportunidad de acompañar el esfuerzo, la disciplina, dedicación y trabajo en equipo como actores principales para poder ir desarrollando esta política de promoción del deporte”, dijo.

Por su parte, el vicealcalde de Managua, Enrique Armas, resaltó la importancia de seguir retomando las veladas semanales para que los jóvenes exploten su talento.

“Queremos aprovechar la ocasión para invitar a las federaciones departamentales a retomar la velada semanal en todos los municipios y cabeceras departamentales”, expresó.

Asimismo, Juan Alberto Molinares, presidente de la Comisión de Boxeo Profesional, manifestó: “En 8 años hemos llegado a lugares tan lejanos como San Juan de Nicaragua, Chinandega, El Castillo, Ocotal, Jalapa, Madriz, hasta los últimos rincones, llevando ese recurso tan importante para hacer deporte”.

Finalmente, Félix Alvarado, campeón mundial de boxeo, expresó: “La gente que vivimos y gozamos de este bello deporte sabemos que sin boxeo no somos nada porque nos apasiona y el gobierno sabe que la juventud nicaragüense tiene mayor oportunidad para salir adelante a través del deporte”, culminó.

On his side, the Deputy Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, highlighted the importance of continuing to return to weekly evenings so that young people exploit their talent.

«We want to take advantage of the occasion to invite the departmental federations to resume the weekly evening in all municipalities and departmental capitals,» he said.

Likewise, Juan Alberto Molinares, president of the Professional Boxing Commission, stated: “In 8 years we have reached places as far away as San Juan de Nicaragua, Chinandega, El Castillo, Ocotal, Jalapa, Madriz, to the last corners, taking that such an important resource for sports ”.

Finally, Félix Alvarado, world boxing champion, expressed: “The people who live and enjoy this beautiful sport know that without boxing we are nothing because we are passionate about it and the government knows that Nicaraguan youth have a greater opportunity to get ahead through sport ”, he concluded.
