El coordinador del Gobierno Regional Autónomo Costa Caribe Norte Msc. Carlos Alemán Cunningham, el Secretario Político departamental de Puerto Cabezas Yamil Zapata acompañado por un equipo técnico de ENACAL y el Alcalde de Puerto Cabezas Prof. Henry Herman, realizaron una visita a la planta de tratamiento de agua residuales ubicado en la comunidad de Lamlaya, lugar donde se encuentran almacenados los medidores.

La visita tiene como objetivo conocer el mecanismo de los medidores, que serán instalados en las viviendas beneficiadas por el proyecto de agua potable. Las autoridades de nuestro buen Gobierno Sandinista, observaron el funcionamiento de este sistema que se instalará y beneficiará a las familias indígenas.

El responsable del proyecto Ing. Frank Tijerino, dijo que la primera agua que será bombeada es para limpiar todas las tuberías.

«Las primeras aguas que se bombearán tienen la finalidad de limpiar las tuberías, por lo que no es apta para consumo, sin embargo, se podrán utilizar para otros quehaceres como lavar ropa, agregó que al momento de realizar esta limpieza no se habrá instalado los medidores, sino hasta que se distribuya agua potable para consumo humano».

El proyecto de agua potable y saneamiento que se ejecuta en Bilwi, por parte de ENACAL representa uno de los sueños más importantes de los pobladores de Bilwi, en esta ciudad el problema del agua es serio durante el verano.

Con este proyecto que ejecuta el Gobierno de Nicaragua y el Gobierno Regional del Caribe Norte, el agua llegara mas de 80 mil habitantes de Bilwi y sus comunidades.

Bilwi water project meters to be installed in July

The coordinator of the Autonomous Regional Government Costa Caribe Norte Msc. Carlos Alemán Cunningham, the Departmental Political Secretary of Puerto Cabezas Yamil Zapata accompanied by a technical team from ENACAL and the Mayor of Puerto Cabezas Prof. Henry Herman, made a visit to the wastewater treatment plant located in the community of Lamlaya, place where the meters are stored.

The purpose of the visit is to learn about the mechanism of the meters, which will be installed in the homes benefited by the drinking water project. The authorities of our good Sandinista Government observed the operation of this system that will be installed and will benefit indigenous families.

The person in charge of the project, Engineer Frank Tijerino, said that the first water that will be pumped is to clean all the pipes.

«The first waters to be pumped have the purpose of cleaning the pipes, so it is not suitable for consumption, however, they can be used for other tasks such as washing clothes, he added that at the time of this cleaning, the meters, until drinking water is distributed for human consumption. »

ENACAL’s drinking water and sanitation project in Bilwi represents one of the most important dreams of the people of Bilwi, in this city the water problem is serious during the summer.

With this project carried out by the Government of Nicaragua and the Regional Government of the North Caribbean, the water will reach more than 80 thousand inhabitants of Bilwi and their communities.
