Jueza dicta primera sentencia de prisión perpetua por crimen de odio en Siuna, Caribe Norte

La jueza especializada del Distrito Penal de violencia del Triangulo Minero Jazohara Zamora Rivera, leyó la primera sentencia contra crímenes de odio, contra Luis Evelio García Estrada de 28 años, a quien condenó con prisión perpetua por el delito de femicidio y asesinato agravado.

La jueza especializada en violencia hizo la lectura de sentencia al medio día de este miércoles 9 de junio, en presencia del fiscal auxiliar Cesar Calonge y la defensoría pública, así como el acusado quien llegó bien custodiado con un fuerte dispositivo policial.

En la fundamentación de la sentencia la judicial señaló que la ley 779 tiene por objeto actuar contra la violencia que se ejerce hacia las mujeres con el propósito de proteger los derechos humanos de las mujeres.

Con la admisión de los hechos el acusado con su actuar demuestra el odio, aborrecimiento, que tenia en contra de la victima por el hecho de ser mujer.

Se declara culpable a Luis Evelio García Estrada por ser autor directo y penalmente responsable de los delitos de femicidio en concurso real con el delito de asesinato agravado por lo que se le condena a prisión perpetua revisable en perjuicio de quien en vida fueron Jesica del Carmen Guido Chevez de 21 años y el niño JAG de 15 meses.

La judicial señalo en la sentencia que García Estrada debe cumplir la sentencia en el Centro de Detención del Sistema Penitenciario Nacional en Matagalpa.

Luis Evelio García Estrada al salir del complejo judicial del Triangulo Minero, dijo que sabe que no va a salir y está claro de ello.

En las pocas palabras que dijo al salir de la lectura de la sentencia el condenado dijo que no se arrepiente de lo que hizo y que le vale un comino no salir de la cárcel.

Luis Evelio García Estrada se convirtió en la primera persona en ser juzgadas con la pena de prisión perpetua revisable en el Caribe de Nicaragua y el cuarto caso que tiene el país después que entro en vigencia la ley de prisión perpetua revisable que entró en vigencia en enero del 2021 para que sean juzgado con esta ley los crímenes de odio en el país.
