Conferencia Episcopal celebra ordenación de obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna
La conferencia Episcopal de Nicaragua, en pleno sesiono en la Catedral San Pablo de Siuna, para celebrar la ordenación episcopal y la toma de posesión del Monseñor Isidoro del Carmen Mora Ortega, como el segundo obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna, este 26 de junio del 2021, con la participación de delegaciones de las parroquias de la Diócesis y de Matagalpa.
La ordenación episcopal estuvo a cargo de su eminencia reverendísima Cardenal Leopoldo José Brenes Solórzano, quien hizo todo una ceremonia propia de la ordenación que va desde preguntar al candidato a ser ordenado si acepta el cargo, posteriormente mostraron y leyeron el nombramiento que hizo el papa Francisco.
EL cardenal Leopoldo José Brenes, hizo entrega de los símbolos del nuevo Obispo como el anillo, el pectoral (cruz sobre el pecho), el báculo o cayado, el solideo (pequeño gorrito morado), y la mitra (sombrero en forma de punta, con dos tiras que salen por el costado, detrás, debajo), además el cardenal ungió con crisma a su eminencia reverendísima Monseñor Isidoro Mora Ortega.
Con la catedral completamente lega de feligreses que llegaron a la ordenación desde Sixa Yari hasta La Cruz de Rio Grande y desde todos los rincones de la Diócesis de Matagalpa, la catedral San Pablo estaba completamente llena de feligreses católicos que celebraron con jubilo la ordenación del pastor que guiara los destinos de la Iglesia en el Caribe Norte.
El Nuncio Apostólico del Santo papa en Nicaragua Waldemar Stanislaw, dijo que lo que nos reúne en la catedral es la gratitud, o se sentimiento de estima y reconocimiento que tenemos primero hacia Dios y el Santo Padre que el pasado 8 de abril decidió designar a Isidoro como nuevo obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna.
“Deseo felicitarte asegurando mis oraciones ante el señor y además el apoyo en el cumplimento de tu nueva misión pastoral, sabes bien que la gran responsabilidad pastoral de Siuna que te ha sido confiada espera en ti un padre espiritual, con una notable capacidad misionera y pastoral con la exigencia personal de ser un pastor distinguido por la santidad, buscando ser santo vas a traer a cristo a aquellos que no comparten nuestra fe, aquellos heridos por la falta de testimonio y coherencia de nuestras vidas” afirmó el nuncio.
Su eminencia reverendísima Monseñor Isidoro del Carmen Mora ortega obispo e la diócesis de Siuna, cargado de emoción llegó y tomo el micrófono para saludar diciendo buenos días ya estoy en Siuna, su amigo, su obispo y su pastor, bien para quedarme y aquí estoy en nombre de nuestro señor Jesucristo.
Monseñor Mora Ortega dijo que Jesús le ha elegido y le ha enviado para ser pastor y amigo en la Diócesis y se entrega por entero en el amor y la fe en el servicio, gracias Santo Padre por elegirme por enviarme aquí estoy para cumplir la misión que usted me ha encomendado.
Al finalizar el acto de ordenación y la primera eucaristía que celebro su eminencia el Obispo Mora ortega, Monseñor Pablo Schmitz Simon, es el último de franciscanos que entrego más de 50 años de su vida a la evangelización de la Costa Caribe, dijo que se debe de trabajar con el Gobierno para el bienestar de todos.
En su alocución Monseñor Pablo agradecido a los laicos de las parroquias que han donado dinero y su mano de obra y en especial al padre Flavio Murillo que ha puesto mucha dedicación en este proyecto.
Aquí en la Costa hemos aprendido de Monseñor Fortunatus, si va a buscar el progreso del pueblo y todo el pueblo, la iglesia con el gobierno deben trabajar para el bien común de todo el pueblo, también agradeció a Padre Julio Faragan, a quien le dijo que tenía que trabajar para entechar la catedral para hacer la ordenación.
Dos brazos trabajando juntos en mejor que un brazo, Monseñor Isidoro ha asumido la diócesis de Siuna, y esta diócesis es una diócesis misionera, cuando llegó a Siuna tenía que pedir posada con los sacerdotes trabajando en la parroquia, una de las cosas que tenemos que pensar es donde va a vivir el futuro Obispo de Siuna, debe tener su propia residencia, su propio lugar para atender a la gente.

With the personal demand to be a pastor distinguished by holiness, seeking to be holy, you will bring to Christ those who do not share our faith, those wounded by the lack of testimony and coherence in our lives, ”said the nuncio.
His Eminence Most Reverend Monsignor Isidoro del Carmen Mora Ortega Bishop of the Diocese of Siuna, full of emotion arrived and took the microphone to say hello saying good morning, I am already in Siuna, your friend, your bishop and your pastor, good to stay and here I am in name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Monsignor Mora Ortega said that Jesus has chosen him and has sent him to be a pastor and friend in the Diocese and he gives himself entirely in love and faith in service, thank you Holy Father for choosing me for sending me here I am to fulfill the mission that you have entrusted me.
At the end of the ordination act and the first Eucharist that his eminence celebrated, Bishop Mora Ortega, Monsignor Pablo Schmitz Simon, is the last of Franciscans who gave more than 50 years of his life to the evangelization of the Caribbean Coast, he said that it is due to work with the Government for the welfare of all.
In his address, Monsignor Pablo thanked the laity of the parishes who have donated money and their labor and especially Father Flavio Murillo who has put a lot of dedication in this project.
