Asesor destaca notables avances en infraestructura escolar

Nicaragua ha invertido mil 200 cuatro millones de córdobas en ejecución, cumpliendo el 98% por ciento de lo planificado, esto ha significado la atención de enero a la tercera semana de junio a 219 centros educativos expresó este martes Salvador Vanegas, asesor en temas educativos del gobierno.

Entre las inversiones Vanegas se refirió a las canchas techadas para deportes, actividades al aire libre, bibliotecas, cocinas equipadas para elaboración de merienda, bodegas para guardar estos alimentos y entrega de pupitres, son algunos de los avances en los centros de educación. Entre enero y junio se han trasladado 30 mil 809 pupitres.

Durante una intervención en el Canal 8 de Televisión Vanegas dijo que en zonas afectada por huracanes ETA y IOTA se construyeron aulas desmontables adecuadas en su material de construcción para las zonas húmedas y se planea seguir ampliando aulas que mejoren las condiciones y atención al alumnado de esas comunidades.

Destaca retención escolar y permanencia en aulas de clase

Vanegas informó que ya se realizó el primer corte evaluativo con muy buenos resultados. 100% de permanencia y con buena asistencia, eso es un dato extraordinario, sostuvo.

Amplió en decir que la propia UNICEF ha declarado que la pandemia ha afectado enormemente los sistemas educativos, ya que el cierre de escuelas ha generado abandono por parte de los estudiantes.

Ante este tema, Vanegas dijo que el Ministerio de Educación en Nicaragua aplica de manera estricta los protocolos de salud, con el fin de evitar el contagio.

Como otros resultados, dijo que hay un 93% aprobación de educación primaria. Esto significa que no dejaron ninguna materia. En el caso de secundaria ronda el 80% de aprobación.

Vanegas manifestó que el lunes 5 de julio inicia el corte intersemestral de vacaciones, el cual se extiende por dos semanas de descanso. Al mismo tiempo salen los docentes, aunque para ellos estarán de regreso el 11 de julio, a diferencia del estudiantado que es una semana después.

Vanegas igualmente explicó que se va a profundizar en el segundo semestre sobre tecnologías educativas, así como dignidad y respeto a las mujeres, también en formación y orientación vocacional; el objetivo es dar mayores herramientas al estudiante para su educación posterior a la secundaria.
