Realizan congreso de forestaría comunitaria en Bilwi

El congreso nacional forestal de forestaría comunitaria se realizó en el auditorio del Gobierno Regional Autónomo Costa Caribe Norte, con el lema «protegiendo y restaurando nuestros bosques e Impulsando el manejo forestal de la mano con nuestras familias», con el objetivo de impulsar un intercambio de experiencias sobre manejo Forestal y de cuencas hídricas.
El Congreso fue presidido por el coordinador del Gobierno Regional Msc. Carlos Alemán Cunningham, el secretario político departamental Yamil Zapata, la Vice alcaldesa de Puerto Cabezas, Margarita Webster, el delegado de INAFOR Eduardo Soto, jefe de la Policía Nacional en Puerto Cabezas comisionado mayor Oswaldo Pérez Woo y el teniente Coronel Alberto Domínguez del Ejército Nacional.
La secretaría de recursos naturales del gobierno regional, hablo sobre las generalidades del programa de reducción de emisiones para la Costa Caribe, haciendo énfasis en la forestaría comunitaria.
El MEFCCA expuso sobre los diferentes programas productivos y de fortalecimiento que desarrollan para mejorar la economía comunitaria y se transmitió desde el nivel nacional la experiencia que ha dejado la forestaría comunitaria en Nicaragua.
Protagonistas de toda la región compartieron sus testimonios, presentando sus productos y explicaron su proceso de elaboración.
La actividad finalizó en el parque municipal, con una expo-feria con los productos elaborados por los y las protagonista, donde también se brindó información para que toda la población pueda tener acceso a estos grandes avances que se ha realizado desde el Gobierno de Nicaragua.
Community forestry congress held in Bilwi
The national forestry congress of community forestry was held in the auditorium of the Autonomous Regional Government of the North Caribbean Coast, with the motto «protecting and restoring our forests and Promoting forest management hand in hand with our families», with the aim of promoting an exchange of experiences on forest and watershed management.
The Congress was chaired by the coordinator of the Regional Government Msc. Carlos Alemán Cunningham, the departmental political secretary Yamil Zapata, the Vice Mayor of Puerto Cabezas, Margarita Webster, the INAFOR delegate Eduardo Soto, chief of the National Police in Puerto Cabezas, senior commissioner Oswaldo Pérez Woo and Lt. Col. Alberto Domínguez of the National Army .
The regional government’s natural resources secretariat spoke about the generalities of the emissions reduction program for the Caribbean Coast, emphasizing community forestry.
The MEFCCA presented on the different productive and strengthening programs that they carry out to improve the community economy and the experience that the community forestry has left in Nicaragua was transmitted from the national level.
Protagonists from all over the region shared their testimonies, presenting their products and explaining their production process.
The activity ended in the municipal park, with an expo-fair with the products made by the protagonists, where information was also provided so that the entire population can have access to these great advances that have been made by the Government of Nicaragua.
