Con 30 años de trayectoria en el softbol se retiró pelotero de Rosita

Con una trayectoria de lujo como pelotero de sófbol, el ingeniero agroforestal Leonzo Rafael Altamirano Rostran, se retiró de los juegos de softbol, durante el acto inaugural del campeonato nacional de softbol de primera división en Siuna, donde además recibió un merecido reconcomiendo.

Leonzo Altamirano Rostran nació en Rosita el 19 de julio de 1976, sus padres Leonzo Altamirano Manzanares y su mama Estebana Rostran Gámez, comenzó su vida deportiva a los 17 años cuando comenzado a jugar con el equipo de los profesores ANDEN con quien jugo tres temporadas hasta 1995, dos de ellas fueron campeones en su natal Rosita.

Para prepararse como ingeniero forestal se traslado de su natal Rosita a Siuna, donde de 1996 hasta el año 2000 con ele quipo de la universidad URACCAN, donde por cinco años fueron los campeones en Siuna.

Al concluir su formación regreso a su natal Rosita donde continúo jugando desde el año 2001hasta el 2005 donde vistió el uniforme de la Miscelandia el Socorro donde fueron campeones cuatro temporadas.

Ya en el año 2006 hasta el 2010 conformó su equipo HOT CÓRTNER con el cual fueron campeones durante cuatro años.

Luego se traslado a Siuna donde jugo durante los años 2011 al 2014 esta vez utilizo el uniforme del equipo de los Halcones, y fueron campeones cuatro temporadas.

A su regreso nuevamente a Rosita del 2015 al 2019 se integra a su equipo HOT CORTNER, donde se coronaron como campeones tres veces, en este periodo asume la presidencia de la Asociación Municipal de Sófbol.

En el año 2020 jugo en Managua lanzamiento modificado y ya en 2021 y 2022 regresa a Siuna con el equipo los Halcones.

En la actualidad juega en Rosita con el equipo los forasteros, ha participado en tres campeonatos nacionales como refuerzo del equipo de Siuna y por primera vez con su equipo de Rosita participa en un campeonato Nacional representando al Las Minas.

Como atleta, directivo y entrenador, Leonzo Altamirano Rostran lleva 30 años de vida dedicada al softbol, un ejemplo de esfuerzo y dedicación a este grandioso deporte.

With a distinguished career as a softball player, agroforestry engineer Leonzo Rafael Altamirano Rostran withdrew from softball games during the opening ceremony of the national first division softball championship in Siuna, where he also received a well-deserved reward.

Leonzo Altamirano Rostran was born in Rosita on July 19, 1976, his parents Leonzo Altamirano Manzanares and his mother Estebana Rostran Gámez, began his sports life at the age of 17 when he started playing with the ANDEN teachers’ team with whom he played three seasons until 1995, two of them were champions in their native Rosita.

Then he moved to Siuna where he played from 2011 to 2014, this time he wore the Falcons team uniform, and they were champions for four seasons.

Upon his return to Rosita from 2015 to 2019, he joined his HOT CORTNER team, where they were crowned champions three times, during this period he assumed the presidency of the Municipal Softball Association.

In 2020 he played in Managua with a modified launch and in 2021 and 2022 he returned to Siuna with the Halcones team.

He currently plays in Rosita with the forasteros team, he has participated in three national championships as reinforcement of the Siuna team and for the first time with his Rosita team he participates in a National championship representing Las Minas. As an athlete, manager and coach, Leonzo Altamirano Rostran has spent 30 years dedicated to softball, an example of effort and dedication to this great sport.
