Mujer miskita adulta y jóvenes de Paiwas primera vez en torneo de softbol

Una mujer miskita de 47 años, tiene tres hijos y tres nietos, es la receptora del equipo femenino de Prinzapolka que participa en el primer campeonato departamental de Softbol femenino y el equipo de mujeres jóvenes de Paiwas, llegaron por primera vez a un campeonato departamental en Siuna, Region Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

Amanda Cornejo es el nombre de una de las integrantes del equipo de Prinzapolka, una mujer de 47 años es originaria de Prinzapolka, y tienen siete años de jugar softbol, es la receptora de su equipo y dice que se siente muy bien.

Sus tres hijos tienen 25, 20 y la niña de 3 años, sus dos hijos también juegan softbol y es un deporte que le gusta por eso lo juega.

De San P edro del Norte tiene tres años y los de Paiwas tienen dos meses de estar en una liga y es su primera vez de estar en un campeonato con una selección de Paiwas.

”Estamos aquí echándolas todas tratando de dar lo mejor para poder seguir en estos torneos, no importa que perdamos y desde que venimos hemos ganado” afirmó Suarez Cerna.

El campeonato departamental de softbol reúne a más de 100 atletas de cinco delegaciones que buscan el banderín.
