Rondón de mariscos gana concurso gastronómico en Siuna
El rondón de mársico que es elaborado a base de pescado, langosta y punche, con el toque especial del ingrediente de la leche de coco, un producto caribeño y verduras, fue el que ganó el primer lugar en el concurso sabores de mi patria, un festival gastronómico realizado por el Instituto nicaragüense de Turismo INTUR y el Gobierno Municipal de Siuna, como parte de la estrategia nacional que implementa el Gobierno de Nicaragua para promover las tradiciones y cultura a lo largo y ancho del país.
El platillo fue elaborado por José Dolores López Midence quien fue el merecedor del premio del primero lugar del concurso, y con ello representara a Siuna en el concurso departamental.
“Estoy muy agradecido por estos concursos porque nos motivan a seguir disfrutando de menú pero también promociona la gastronomía caribeña” afirmó el ganador del concurso.
López Midence dijo que puede elaborar más de dos mil platillos y el rondón es uno de ellos.
El Lic. Antonio Rios Palacios delegado del INTUR en Siuna dijo que este concurso se realiza con el objetivo de promocionar y promover la gastronomía municipal y la gastronomía de la Costa Caribe.
Rios Palacios dijo que el ganador de este concurso va a representar a Siuna en el concurso departamental y el ganador de ese concurso departamental representara a la región en San Carlos rio San Juan donde se realizara el concurso nacional.
Marlín Suazo (con el vigoron) y Elvia Lorena Garth Castillo (con el rondón) obtuvieron el tercero y segundo lugar de la competencia.
Los concursantes fueron María Isabel Lira, Marlín Suazo, Paula Videa, Zenelia Zeledón Espinoza, Elvia Lorena Garth Castillo y José Dolores López Midence.
Los platillos que fueron parte del concurso fueron el indio viejo, el vigoron, el rondón, la montuca, y la enchilada.
El alcalde de Siuna Otilio Duarte felicito a los concursantes y les dio que todos y todas son ganadoras desde que están participando, pero tres son los que recibirán la premiación.
Finalmente las autoridades del Gobierno Municipal, el INTUR, MEFCCA entregaron certificados de participación y los premios a los ganadores.
Seafood Rondón wins gastronomic contest in Siuna
The rondón de mársico, which is made from fish, lobster and punche, with the special touch of the ingredient of coconut milk, a Caribbean product and vegetables, was the one that won first place in the contest flavors of my country, a gastronomic festival carried out by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism INTUR and the Municipal Government of Siuna, as part of the national strategy implemented by the Government of Nicaragua to promote traditions and culture throughout the country.

López Midence said that he can make more than two thousand dishes and the rondón is one of them.

Finally the authorities of the Municipal Government, INTUR, MEFCCA delivered certificates of participation and prizes to the winners.
