Coordinador del Gobierno destaca avances de la Autonomía en la Costa Caribe

Los pilares de la Autonomía de la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua se fundamentan en la inclusión de la Costa Caribe al desarrollo del resto del país y es un proceso que se construyen cada día, así lo dio a conocer el master Carlos Alemán Cuningham coordinador del Gobierno Regional durante el acto del 33 aniversario de la Autonomía realizado en URACCAN Bilwi.

Alemán señalo que la inclusión y lo que se viene haciendo es cerrar la brecha de la exclusión y desde el resto del país se faciliten las condiciones para que avancemos en esa lógica, y la nueva constitución de Nicaragua reconoce la multietnicidad de Nicaragua.

Eso se viene haciendo desde las carreteras, escuelas, comunicación, producción, y es lo que es fundamental para tener mejores condiciones de vida en la Costa Caribe dijo Alemán Cuningham.

Se ha ido avanzando en esa lógica para que los costeños y costeñas tengamos mejores condiciones de vida, en el norte es fácil hablar de estas inversiones que disminuyen nuestras dificultades que teníamos para vivir en base a las mejores calidades de vida que tiene cual quiere nicaragüense dijo el coordinador del Gobierno Regional.

Para Alemán el segundo pilar en que se sostiene la Autonomía es que somos diferentes, miskitos afrodescendientes, mayangnas, mestizos pero todos somos nicaragüenses entonces queremos que se reconozca esa diversidad, y se restituya los derechos culturales, políticos y derechos históricos.

El otro pilar es el tema de la salud y aquí queremos saber los saberes ancestrales, los saberes que dieron resultados para prevenir enfermedades como el Covid, si nosotros tuvimos capacidades para enfrentar el Covid, y como es que los muertos del Covid no se dieron n las comunidades, necesitamos conocer ese conocimiento y necesitamos recrear ese conocimiento ancestral sobre la cultura y la salud, dijo Alemán.

Carlos Alemán dijo que hace falta investigar muchos más en el tema de educación y como incorporar a los sabios ancianos en los pueblos indígenas y afrodescendientes, para que sean parte del diario vivir, para mejores aprendizajes y conocimientos para este proceso.

El tercer pilar de la Autonomía es la voluntad política y no puede ser solo de los miskitos, mayangnas y afrodescendientes, tiene que haber un esfuerzo nacional para que el proceso se profundice y eso se logró con los gobiernos del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, así como nació URACCAN de la Autonomía, La Autonomía nació de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, dijo Alemán.

“Y ahora en los últimos 13 años nosotros hemos sido testigos de la mayor inversión del gobierno en el Caribe, en términos de infraestructura, camino a Bluefields, Laguna de Perlas, Kukra Hill, Waslala, Siuna, Sahsa Nazaret, Wawa, Bonanza y los argumentos de los Gobiernos anteriores es que en la costa no había producción y se ha demostrado que en la medida que avanza los aminos se incrementa la actividad económica y hay mayor producción” afirmó Alemán.

La Costa está produciendo más granos básicos, leche carnes más que Chontales y Matagalpa en los datos nacionales y eso es porque existe camino y energía, destaco Carlos Alemán y eso se hace con voluntad política, dijo el funcionario.

El coordinador del Gobierno dijo que para que un pájaro puede volar necesita dos alas, y Nicaragua tenía su historia solo con un ala, eso se va a tener en la medida que la costa tenga más conocimiento y en eso aportan las dos universidades.

El coordinador del Gobierno Regional recordó que Yuri Zapata fue enviado por la Asociación de estudiantes de la Costa Atlántica a  fundar la universidad como estudiantes costeños, la Ph.D Jacoba Dávila en Siuna.

Las universidades y el INATEC le han aportado con más de 26 mil  personas a la Costa Caribe en términos de formación y esos es grandísimo, es uno de los aportes más significativos que tiene la Autonomía.

El acto de los 33 años de Autonomía se realizó en URACCAN Bilwi y asistieron autoridades de las dos universidades, delegados de las instituciones del Gobierno de Nicaragua y la comunidad universitaria.

Government Coordinator highlights progress of Autonomy on the Caribbean Coast

The pillars of the Autonomy of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua are based on the inclusion of the Caribbean Coast to the development of the rest of the country and it is a process that is built every day, as was announced by Master Carlos Alemán Cuningham, coordinator of the Regional Government during the act of the 33rd anniversary of Autonomy held at URACCAN Bilwi.

That has been done from the roads, schools, communication, production, and it is what is fundamental to have better living conditions on the Caribbean Coast, said Alemán Cuningham.

Progress has been made in this logic so that we coastal people have better living conditions, in the north it is easy to talk about these investments that reduce our difficulties that we had to live based on the best quality of life that a Nicaraguan wants said the coordinator of the Regional Government.

For Alemán, the second pillar on which autonomy is sustained is that we are different, Afro-descendant Miskitos, Mayangnas, mestizos, but we are all Nicaraguans, so we want that diversity to be recognized, and to restore cultural, political and historical rights.

The other pillar is the issue of health and here we want to know the ancestral knowledge, the knowledge that gave results to prevent diseases such as Covid, if we had the capabilities to face Covid, and how is it that the deaths of Covid did not occur the communities, we need to know that knowledge and we need to recreate that ancestral knowledge about culture and health, said Alemán.

Carlos Alemán said that much more research is needed on the subject of education and how to incorporate wise elders in indigenous peoples and Afro-descendants, so that they are part of daily life, for better learning and knowledge for this process.

The third pillar of Autonomy is the political will and it cannot be only of the Miskitos, Mayangnas and Afro-descendants, there has to be a national effort for the process to deepen and that was achieved with the governments of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, as well. As URACCAN was born of Autonomy, Autonomy was born of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, said Alemán.

“And now in the last 13 years we have witnessed the largest government investment in the Caribbean, in terms of infrastructure, on the way to Bluefields, Pearl Lagoon, Kukra Hill, Waslala, Siuna, Sahsa Nazaret, Wawa, Bonanza and the The arguments of the previous governments is that there was no production on the coast and it has been shown that as the amines progress, economic activity increases and there is greater production, ”said Alemán.

The coordinator of the Regional Government recalled that Yuri Zapata was sent by the Association of students of the Atlantic Coast to found the university as coastal students, the Ph.D Jacoba Dávila in Siuna.

Universities and INATEC have contributed more than 26 thousand people to the Caribbean Coast in terms of training and that is enormous, it is one of the most significant contributions that Autonomy has.

The act of the 33 years of Autonomy was held at URACCAN Bilwi and was attended by authorities from the two universities, delegates from the institutions of the Government of Nicaragua and the university community.
