Construirán viviendas en Haulover, comunidad devastada por huracanes
(Radio La Primerísima) El Gobierno Sandinista construirá a principios de noviembre, las primeras 100 viviendas en la comunidad indígena de Haulover en el Caribe Norte, tras un año del paso de los huracanes Eta e Iota que destruyeron edificios, centros de salud y escuelas, informó este viernes el Gobernador Carlos Alemán.
El funcionario destacó que a un año de la brutal embestida de los ciclones más fuertes que han impactado en la historia del territorio nacional, la respuesta del Gobierno no ha cesado mediante programas y proyectos para restablecer la infraestructura y economía de las familias caribeñas.
Explicó que a través del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público se afinan las coordinaciones para el inicio de la construcción de las primeras viviendas de más de 4 mil 500 que serán construidas en todo el territorio, para dar mayor seguridad a las familias afectadas.
“Con el ministro Iván Acosta acordamos que a finales de este mes de octubre o inicios de noviembre tenemos que tener un avance significativo en el proceso de construcción en la comunidad de Haulover una de las comunidades más afectadas por los huracanes”, anunció Alemán.
Asimismo, destacó los más de 300 kilómetros de caminos restaurados en las zonas rurales que representan un impacto importante para las familias de las comunidades más alejadas.

The Sandinista government will build the first 100 homes in the Haulover indigenous community in the North Caribbean at the beginning of November, after a year of the passage of hurricanes Eta and Iota that destroyed buildings, health centers and schools, the Governor reported this Friday. The official stressed that one year after the brutal onslaught of the strongest cyclones that have impacted in the history of the national territory, the Government’s response has not ceased through programs and projects to restore the infrastructure and economy of Caribbean families.
He explained that through the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the coordination for the beginning of the construction of the first houses of more than 4,500 that will be built throughout the territory is being refined, to give greater security to the affected families.
«With Minister Iván Acosta we agreed that by the end of this month of October or the beginning of November we have to have a significant advance in the construction process in the community of Haulover, one of the communities most affected by the hurricanes,» Aleman announced.
He also highlighted the more than 300 kilometers of restored roads in rural areas that represent an important impact for families in the most remote communities.
