Entregan campo deportivo y se inaugura liga beisbolera en el Porvenir Siuna
Con la entrega de un campo deportivo para jugar beisbol y utilajes deportivos para 18 equipos que participan en la liga indígena y campesina en el sector de El Porvenir en Siuna, se materializa la política de estado de masificación del deporte en Nicaragua y en particular en la Costa Caribe se viene cumpliendo.
Los beisbolistas que antes jugaban en los campos deportivos de estas comunidades recuerdan las malas condiciones en que tenían los campos de beisbol, que hasta detrás de unas piedras jugabas por que no tenían buenas condiciones tampoco había apoyo del Gobierno municipal, así lo dio a conocer José Ángel Lopez Góngora deportistas del sector del Porvenir.
El deportista recordó que antes jugaban con pelotas hechas de calcetín ante la falta de pelotas, pero cuando había las ligas indígenas uy campesinas a veces les daban pelotas y un bate, pero hoy no solo le han entregado un campo deportivo de beisbol, sino que han recibido utilajes y uniformes los 18 equipos, pero eso no es todo también toda la logística la recibe el equipo que va al campeonato de campeones a Siuna.
Lopez Góngora hizo un especial reconocimiento al comandante Daniel ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo por todo el apoyo que están brindando al deporte y de igual forma hizo un reconociendo al gobierno municipal de Siuna representada en la persona del alcalde Otilio Duarte Herrera.
Por su parte Leonel Cruz Orozco, dirigente deportivo del Porvenir, dijo que esta muy agradecido con Dios el Gobierno y el alcalde, ya que antes no tenían campos de beisbol, con las condiciones que hoy en día tienen y que es el deporte rey y en ese lugar iniciaron la liga 18 equipos que van a disfrutar este estadio en la comunidad.
Por su parte el alcalde de Siuna Otilio Duarte dijo que se entrego el campo de beisbol en nombre del comandante Daniel y la compañera Rosario, un estadio con una inversión de 400 mil córdobas y 150 mil córdobas en la compra del terreno para que sea utilizado por los deportistas de la zona.
