Colonos que han sido acusados pueden estar ligado a quema de oficinas en AMASAU

La quema de las oficinas del gobierno territorial indígena AMASAU podrían estar ligadas a diferentes procesos que se están llevando en contra de personas que han ocupado las tierras de forma ilegal y no descartan que algunos comunitarios estén vinculados en el hecho, así lo dieron a conocer diversas fuentes consultadas por Sistema de Noticias del Caribe tras conocer el hecho, registrado en la Comunidad de Awastingni jurisdicción del Municipio de Waspam en el Caribe Norte.

En un comunicado emitido por las autoridades territoriales indígenas informan que el inmueble fue construido con fondos de transferencias del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Publico y con el esfuerzo comunitario.

En el inmueble fueron incinerados muebles de la oficina; sillas, mesas, las computadoras de escritorios y portátiles, equipos de sonido, radio comunicación, paneles solares, televisión, y otros aparatos que usan para su labor en la comunidad.

En las oficinas también se quemaron los expedientes de personas que están siendo acusadas por la ocupación ilegal de la propiedad comunal, libros, la información estadística y documentos de todo el trabajo desarrollado por el gobierno territorial.

Las autoridades Territoriales han puesto, la denuncia oficinal ante las autoridades competentes para que determinen las causas del siniestro y sean castigados los culpables del hecho.

La madrugada de este martes 5 de noviembre fue incendiada las oficinas del Gobierno Territorial dejando perdidas millonarias.

Settlers who have been charged may be linked to burning offices in AMASAU

The dawn of this Tuesday, November 5, the Territorial Government offices were set on fire leaving millions lost.
