Las instalaciones del Colegio Moravo Juan Amos Comenius, un centro de educación que ha formado a muchos líderes del Caribe Norte de Nicaragua, fue el escenario para un choque entre los dos grupos que se disputan el control de la Junta Provincial de la Iglesia Morava en Nicaragua, en la ciudad e Bilwi en la Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

Los dos grupos enfrentados son seguidores de Joseph Rivera, recién nombrado Obispo en un sínodo que no es reconocido por la feligresía morava, y seguidores del reverendo Roger Wilson, quien se adjudica el control de la Junta provincial con un sínodo anterior que no es reconocido por Rivera y su grupo.

El grupo liderado por Roger Wilson, tomo el control del Colegio moravo que según ellos estaban secuestrado y lograron tener el control de ese lugar, donde hubo varios golpeados y heridos.

Los heridos fueron enviados al hospital Nuevo Amanecer de Bilwi y también hubo daños a la infraestructura del colegio moravo secundaria.

Otro de los lugares que ha sido recuperado por el grupo del reverendo Roger Wilson, es el seminario teológico Moravo donde funciona la Clínica Medica Previsional en Bilwi, que estaba controlado por los seguidores de Joseph Rivera.

El conflicto interno que mantiene enfrentados a dos grupos en Bilwi, se ha extendido a varios meses, ya que ambos grupos de adjudican la legalidad en el control de la Junta Directiva de la Junta provincial de la Iglesia Morava en Nicaragua.

Hasta ahora el Ministerio de Gobernación no ha certificado a ninguno de los dos grupos que están enfrentados.

Confrontation between Moravian Christians in Bilwi

The facilities of the Moravo Juan Amos Comenius College, an education center that has trained many leaders of the Northern Caribbean of Nicaragua, was the scene for a clash between the two groups that dispute the control of the Provincial Board of the Moravian Church in Nicaragua , in the city and Bilwi in the Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast.

The two opposing groups are followers of Joseph Rivera, newly appointed Bishop in a synod that is not recognized by the Moravian parishioner, and followers of the Rev. Roger Wilson, who is awarded control of the Provincial Board with a previous synod that is not recognized by Rivera and his group.

The group led by Roger Wilson, took control of the Moravian College that they claimed were kidnapped and managed to take control of that place, where there were several beaten and injured.

The injured were sent to the New Dawn hospital in Bilwi and there was also damage to the infrastructure of the Moravian secondary school.

Another of the places that has been recovered by the group of the Rev. Roger Wilson, is the Moravo theological seminary where the Pension Medical Clinic operates in Bilwi, which was controlled by the followers of Joseph Rivera.

The internal conflict that confronts two groups in Bilwi has extended to several months, as both groups grant the legality in the control of the Board of Directors of the provincial Board of the Moravian Church in Nicaragua.

So far, the Ministry of the Interior has not certified any of the two groups that are facing each other.
