Depositan ofrenda floral a héroes del 20 de diciembre en Triángulo Minero

El 20 de diciembre de 1987 murieron mas de 50 hombres mujeres y niños que fueron ultimados de forma cobarde por la contra revolución, que atacaron de forma simultanea los municipios de Rosita, Bonanza y Siuna, pero milicianos, reservistas, policías y miembros de nuestro glorioso Ejercito Popular Sandinista, logro resistir y lograron evitar la toma de las tres minas.

Esos hombres y mujeres que cayeron defendiendo a la población murieron con el sueño de ver una Nicaragua mejor y hoy esos sueños se hacen realidad con el Gobierno del comandante Daniel Ortega y la vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo que ha dignificado a la población de la Costa Caribe de Nicaragua, así lo expreso Ana Lazo Álvarez, quien perdió al padre de sus hijos Omar Mercado Silva.

El relato de la maestra Lazo Álvarez, nos indica que muchas familias católicas estaban en los rezos del divino niño aquel 20 de diciembre de 1987, cuando comenzaron a escuchar los disparos, muchos creían que eran tiros al aire para celebrar la navidad, pero se dieron cuenta que eran balas de verdad lanzadas contra la población y se fueron a refugiar al gimnasio, así le decían al auditorio que tenia la ciudad de Siuna donde muchas familias llegaron a protegerse de las balas.

La contra revolución pretendía tomase las tres minas, pero no pudieron y hubo resistencia pero también hubieron muchos muertos, Omar Mercado, el poeta, cantor de revolución, había sido herido y llevado al hospital, allí le recomendaron quedarse pero el les contesto que un verdadero revolucionario tenia que defender la Revolución y salió llego a la casa sandinista y se fueron a enfrentar a la contra que estaba intentando entrar por la arenera y fue allí donde una bala le penetro por la parte baja izquierda y le salió por la parte derecha atravesó y daño su columna, allí se estaba desangrando y fue encontrado inconsciente, recordó Ana Lazo.

Las Unidad de Victoria por la Paz del Triangulo Minero, al concluir la sesión ordinaria junto a la militancia sandinista depositaron una ofrenda floral a esos Héroes y Mártires en sus tumbas en el cementerio municipal de Siuna Monte Sinaí.

El secretario Político departamental del FSLN en el Triángulo Minero Dr. Noel Espinoza Talavera, dijo que se rinde honor y gloria a esos Héroes y Mártires en Bonaza, Rosita y en Siuna, de estos hermanos que transitaron a otro plano de vida pero que estamos seguro que su sangre derramada no fue en vano.

Santos Vanegas secretario de organización del FSLN dijo que mas de 57 hermanos entre niños y niñas que fueron masacrados cobardemente refugiados en alcantarillas, donde llego la contra a asesinar a niño niñas y mujeres que estaban protegiéndose en las alcantarillas.

El alcalde de Siuna Otilio Duarte Herrera dijo que se está recordando a esos hombres y mujeres que cayeron en la defensa de la revolución, ellos están vivos y no mueren, están vivos en el trabajo, en el cumplimiento de sus sueños, el comandante Daniel y la compañera Rosario esta cumpliendo esos sueños.
