Después de varias horas de negociaciones entre el comisionado Damián Padilla, jefe de Tránsito de la Policía Nacional en el Triángulo Minero y los transportistas, acordaron dejar salir el bus hacia Puerto Cabezas para no seguir afectando la unidad de las ocho de la noche de Siuna Managua, en la terminal de buses de Siuna en el Caribe Norte.

El conflicto se generó luego de que el bus de transporte Macarrón se atravesó detrás del bus Flores, que se encontraba sin permiso de operación ya que se había vencido el  temporal emitido por el Ministerio de Transporte e Infraestructura.

La acción fue para evitar su salida hacia Bilwi, la noche de este domingo 19 de enero, lo que obligó que los transportistas Gonzalo Flores e Iván Flores cerraran los portones y luego atravesaran otro bus en la entrada de la terminal para evitar que el bus de las 8:00 pm saliera a Managua y presionar para que los dejaran salir hacia Bilwi.

El jefe de Tránsito, Comisionado Damián Padilla, llegó a la terminal y conversó con los dueños de los buses.

Gonzalo Flores dijo en esa pequeña discusión, en el portón de la terminal, que ellos compraron la terminal y todo es privado para evitar que la policía moviera el bus atravesado en la entrada.

Después del altercado se reunieron, ya que habían vendido como 20 boletos hacia Bilwi y para no afectar a los pasajeros, las autoridades acordaron dejar salir por última vez esa ruta hacia Bilwi y así el conflicto llegó a su fin.

Los transportistas conscientes de la alta movilización de personas en las festividades de Navidad y Año Nuevo, solicitaron al MTI autorizar rutas emergentes en el corredor para suplir las demandas de pasajeros, a lo que el MTI accedió permitiendo en un plazo de un mes hasta el 15 de enero que estas unidades funcionaran.

Los permisos de las rutas emergentes culminaron el 15 de enero, todos los transportistas sabían eso incluyendo Gonzalo e Iván Flores, porque firmaron un acta donde quedaba claro del alcance de los acuerdos donde estuvo el viceministro del MTI en la reunión del Consejo Regional de Transporte en Siuna, en diciembre pasado.
