Destinarán 4.6 millones de dólares para fortalecer sector pesca en el Caribe

El gobierno movilizará este año aproximadamente 4.6 millones de dólares para fortalecer al sector pesquero, informó este viernes el Ministro de Hacienda y Crédito Público, Iván Acosta.
El funcionario mencionó que se priorizará a los trabajadores del mar que fueron afectados el año pasado por el paso de los huracanes ETA e IOTA en la Costa Caribe Norte del país.
Acosta dijo que adicionalmente se entregarán bonos tecnológicos pesqueros a quienes perdieron sus medios de vida a causa de los fenómenos antes mencionados.

The government will mobilize approximately 4.6 million dollars this year to strengthen the fishing sector, the Minister of Finance and Public Credit, Iván Acosta, reported this Friday.
The official mentioned that priority will be given to marine workers who were affected last year by the passage of hurricanes ETA and IOTA in the North Caribbean Coast of the country.
Acosta said that additionally, fishing technology bonds will be given to those who lost their livelihoods due to the aforementioned phenomena.
