Las autoridades del Gobierno Regional, Ministerio de Educación, Ministerio de Salud y la Universidad URACCAN, sostuvieron un encuentro con autoridades de los Gobiernos territoriales indígenas del Caribe Norte para abordar las medidas de prevención frente al Covid.19 y el tema del presupuesto para el 2021.

La población de los municipios de la Costa Caribe debe mantener la calma y tomar las medidas de prevención frente al COVID-19 y esperar que las autoridades informen sobre los casos que sean confirmados en la región, afirmaron autoridades de salud.

Esta mañana el doctor Lázaro Téllez director del MINSA en el Caribe Norte dijo que es importante que la población no siga información falsa que circula en las redes sociales, que están atemorizados debido a algunos casos que han llegado a las unidades de salud con algunos síntomas, pero al hacerles las pruebas del COVID-19 han resultado falso.

Por otro lado, el master Carlos Alemán coordinador del Gobierno dijo que en base a la información de las comunidades se va a trabajar un plan para intensificar las medidas de prevención en la región.

La rectora de URACCAN Alta Hooker, explicó que se han sostenido encuentros con los médicos tradicionales en el Caribe Norte y por eso la importancia de conocer cómo se trabajara desde las comunidades para la prevención del Covid-19 porque cada pueblo, tiene diversas formas de responder ante las enfermedades y diversas formas de curarse y atenderse.

La rectora de URACCAN Alta Hooker, presentó ante las autoridades regionales la producción que están haciendo desde URACCAN como alcohol, cloro, gel jabón, que son usados para la prevención del COVID-19.

La Rectora de URACCAN también informó que desde los estudiantes se ha creado una aplicación que puede ser utilizada por el MINSA para la atención en salud en comunidades remotas de la región.

Los presidentes y presidentas de los Gobierno Territoriales indígenas abordaron las medias que están implementando en sus comunidades para la prevención del Covid y otros problemas que tienen en su territorio.

Authorities discuss CIVID averages with territorial governments

The authorities of the Regional Government, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and URACCAN University, held a meeting with authorities of the indigenous territorial governments of the North Caribbean to address prevention measures against Covid. 19 and the issue of the budget for 2021.
