Aunque hace falta terminar dos etapas de construcción de la nueva terminal de Bluefields, ubicada en el sector del Pericón, se inauguró este lugar de donde saldrán los buses en diferentes rutas.

Las rutas son: Bluefields— Managua, Bluefields— Nueva Guinea, Bluefields— San Pancho, Bluefields—Los Limones.

En la terminal están las ventanillas de venta de boletos, además de lugares de comida rápida, farmacia, oficinas de Intur, baños, área de estacionamiento y sala de espera.

Aún con todo y esto, no existe una decisión definitiva en la alcaldía y el consejo de transporte para fijar el costo en taxi hacia esa terminal, los taxistas cobran 20 córdobas, sin que esto se haya aprobado.

El boleto entre Bluefields y Managua aún no se ajusta al costo real, que debe ser menor al actual.
