Cuesta el mango cobra dos vidas en Silvi Coperna, Siuna

Dos jóvenes murieron al caer de un camión que iba de retroceso en la cuesta el mango, en la comarca Silvi de Coperna en Siuna, Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Norte.

Tn8 se traslado hasta el lugar de los hechos donde los testigos del accidente explicaron que el camión fue contratado para traer un grupo de personas de la comunidad de Silvi hacia Coperna y ya iban de regreso cuando al intentar subir la cuesta el mango, el motor del camión se apagó y eso provoco que se fuera para atrás.

Presentación Suarez Leiva suegro de Walter Pravia, dijo que en el momento que el camión iba para atrás, en la parte de abajo habían quedado unas piedras, el camión se subió a una de esa piedra y eso provo que des soltaran los dos jóvenes, mientras el camión seguía de retroceso.

“Al coronar abajo cayo fuera del camino y como fue reparado pego en un peñón y ellos se soltaron del camión y cayeron fueron arrastrados como diez metros y quedaron de cuña” afirmo presentación Suarez.

Los dos jóvenes fueron golpeados por las llantas del automotor, y quedaron prensados, lo que provoco la muerte de forma instantánea.

Los dos jóvenes fueron identificados como Darwin Antonio Dávila y Walter Pravia, los dos vivían en la comunidad de Silvi.

Ángel Dávila García tío de Darwin Antonio Dávila, dijo a Tn8 que el chavalo andaba haciendo un mandado en Coperna y ya iban de regreso a su comunidad cuando se dio el accidente, el camión quedo apagado el motor y se fue para atrás, y abajo pegó en un bolón, donde los dos jóvenes se zafaron y cayeron, hasta ser alcanzados por las llantas del camión.

Los dos cuerpos fueron llevados hacia la comunidad de Coperna fonde prepararon sus cuerpos uno de ellos será llevado a su comunidad y el otro será velado en Coperna donde tiene familiares.

El camión era conducido por Marvin Luna, dueño del vehículo, que está bajo investigación policial.

Two young people died when they fell from a truck that was going backwards on Cuesta el Mango, in the Silvi de Coperna region in Siuna, Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast.

Tn8 went to the scene where the accident witnesses explained that the truck was contracted to bring a group of people from the community of Silvi to Coperna and they were already on their way back when, trying to climb the hill, the handle, the engine of the truck turned off and that caused it to go backwards.

Presentation Suarez Leiva, father-in-law of Walter Pravia, said that at the moment the truck was going backwards, some stones had been left behind, the truck climbed onto one of those stones and that caused the two young men to let go, while the truck continued to back up.

«When crowning down, it fell off the road and as it was repaired it hit a rock and they got loose from the truck and fell, they were dragged about ten meters and were left wedged,» Suarez said.

The two young people were hit by the car’s tires, and were pressed, which caused their death instantly.

The two young men were identified as Darwin Antonio Dávila and Walter Pravia, both of whom lived in the community of Silvi.

Ángel Dávila García, Darwin’s uncle Antonio Dávila, told Tn8 that the kid was running an errand in Coperna and they were already on their way back to their community when the accident occurred, the truck’s engine was turned off and it went backwards, and hit the bottom in a bolón, where the two youths broke free and fell, until they were hit by the tires of the truck.

The two bodies were taken to the community of Coperna after their bodies were prepared, one of them will be taken to his community and the other will be laid to rest in Coperna where he has relatives.

The truck was driven by Marvin Luna, owner of the vehicle, who is under police investigation.
