Inauguran comedor infantil en la comunidad indígena de Lamlaya

Un comedor infantil fue inaugurado este primero de noviembre en la comunidad de Lamlaya, ubicada a unos 10 kilómetros de la ciudad de Bilwi en el Caribe Norte.

Al evento asistió Yamil Zapata Webb secretario político departamental para Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka y Waspam, Ronald Witingham presidente del Territorio de Karata, Tessia Torrez delegada del Mined en el Caribe Norte y la junta directiva del Gobierno Territorial Indígena.

Yamil Zapata Webb, secretario político departamental para Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka y Waspam dijo que el comedor tiene un costo de 384 mil córdobas y fue construido con todas las condiciones.

“Aquí estamos hablando de la restitución de los derechos a los niños y niñas estudiantes indígenas de una comunidad por parte del Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional” explicó el político.

El secretario político recordó que la inauguración se da en una fecha muy especial ya que se acaba de conmemorar 32 años de Autonomía,

“Aquí vemos como seguimos desarrollando estos aspectos de atención a las diferentes instancias, en este caso a la niñez indígena, gracias a esa buena voluntad del comandante Daniel en haber iniciado, aprobado y desarrollado la ley de Autonomía, una vez más desde la Costa Caribe continuamos profundizando la Autonomía construyendo este tipo de infraestructura para restituir derechos” observó Zapata Webb.

Ronald Witingham presidente territorial de Karata dijo que esta obra fue construida con fondos del tesoro nacional administrado por el Gobierno Territorial de Karata gracias al apoyo incondicional del Gobierno del Comandante Daniel Ortega.

“Estamos aquí entregando el comedor de la escuela Fabián Sang y esto es restitución de derechos de la niñas y niños, aquí estamos hablando del futuro de Nicaragua y queremos agradecerle al Gobierno Sandinista porque todos los programas y proyectos que hemos logrados en las comunidades son apoyados por el gobierno sin condición” afirmó el lider indígena.

Tessia Torrez delegada de Mined, dijo0 que 300 niños indígenas miskitos son los protagonistas con este comedor que se está inaugurando totalmente equipado con mesas y sillas.

La delegada del Mined felicitó al Gobierno Territorial de Karata por seguir desarrollando obras acompañado por nuestro buen Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, obras que tienen que ver con la parte educativa de los niños y niñas indígenas.

Ofelia Thompson comunitaria de Lamlaya, dijo están agradecidos con el Gobierno por la construcción del comedor.

“Ahora los niños tendrán un lugar digno donde tomar sus alimentos cada día, nosotros los padres de familia celebramos muy contento la construcción de este comedor” observó la comunitaria.

Children’s dining room opens in the indigenous community of Lamlaya

A children’s dining room was inaugurated on November 1 in the community of Lamlaya, located about 10 kilometers from the city of Bilwi in the North Caribbean.

The event was attended by Yamil Zapata Webb departmental political secretary for Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka and Waspam, Ronald Witingham president of the Karata Territory, Tessia Torrez delegate of the Mined in the North Caribbean and the board of the Indigenous Territorial Government.

Yamil Zapata Webb, departmental political secretary for Puerto Cabezas, Prinzapolka and Waspam said the dining room has a cost of 384 thousand cordobas and was built with all conditions.

«Here we are talking about the restitution of the rights to indigenous children of a community by the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity,» explained the politician.

The political secretary recalled that the inauguration takes place on a very special date since 32 years of Autonomy have just been commemorated,

“Here we see how we continue to develop these aspects of attention to the different instances, in this case to indigenous children, thanks to that good will of Commander Daniel in having initiated, approved and developed the Law of Autonomy, once again from the Caribbean Coast We continue to deepen Autonomy by building this type of infrastructure to restore rights, ”Zapata Webb observed.

Ronald Witingham territorial president of Karata said that this work was built with funds from the national treasury administered by the Territorial Government of Karata thanks to the unconditional support of the Government of Commander Daniel Ortega.

“We are here delivering the Fabián Sang school canteen and this is restitution of the rights of girls and boys, here we are talking about the future of Nicaragua and we want to thank the Sandinista Government because all the programs and projects we have achieved in the communities are supported by the government without condition ”said the indigenous leader.

Tessia Torrez delegate of Mined, said0 that 300 indigenous Miskito children are the protagonists with this dining room that is being inaugurated fully equipped with tables and chairs.

The delegate of the Mined congratulated the Territorial Government of Karata for continuing to develop works accompanied by our good Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, works that have to do with the educational part of indigenous children.

Ofelia Thompson community of Lamlaya, said they are grateful to the Government for the construction of the dining room.

«Now the children will have a decent place to eat their food every day, we parents are very happy to celebrate the construction of this dining room,» said the community.
