Monseñor David Alvin Zywiec Sydor, obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna, se preocupó por los asuntos de su Diócesis hasta el último momento de su vida.

El padre Carlos Zúniga durante la homilía de este domingo 5 de enero dijo que el religioso estaba preocupado por la catedral y varias responsabilidades de la Diócesis de Siuna en el Caribe Norte.

Dijo que Monseñor  pedía que oraran no solo por su salud, sino porque se mandara un vicario, un obispo auxiliar, porque necesitaba ayuda.

«Monseñor el martes si Dios quiere será trasladado a Estados Unidos, Monseñor no tiene un gripe,  no es una sacudida de moco lo que le salió, tiene un tumor y aquí en Nicaragua no quiso operarse, no quiso causar problemas aquí, él tiene unos médicos allá y entonces se le está respetando y el martes si Dios quiere será trasladado a Estados Unidos», dijo el párroco de Siuna, momentos antes de que se conociera la noticia de la muerte de monseñor.

“Es grave el asunto pero está preocupado, él está pendiente de que le pongan el techo a la catedral y por estar volando lengua con ustedes todos los días desde la 4:00 a.m. en la radio otra vez le dio el asunto y volvió a convulsionar, el obispo está enfermo oremos por él, pidamos a Dios que nos mande un vicario, otro obispo auxiliar, esta vez no sé cómo vamos a estar vienen las fiestas de Esquipulas y estamos sin él”, dijo el padre Carlos Zuniga durante la misa.

Tras cumplir con la homilía pocas horas después se conoció de la muerte del Obispo de la Diócesis de Siuna, Monseñor David Alvin Zywiec Sydor en el hospital militar Alejandro Dávila Bolaños.

El alcalde de Siuna, Otilio Duarte de Siuna, le dedicó a monseñor David Zywiec el campeonato de béisbol que se realizará del 9 al 11  de enero durante las fiestas patronales, en honor a nuestro Señor de Esquipulas, patrono de este lugar caribeño.

Bishop was always worried about his Diocese

Monsignor David Alvin Zywiec Sydor, bishop of the Diocese of Siuna, worried about the affairs of his Diocese until the last moment of his life.

“The matter is serious but he is worried, he is waiting to put the ceiling on the cathedral and to be flying tongue with you every day from 4:00 a.m. On the radio he gave the matter again and convulsed again, the bishop is sick, we pray for him, we ask God to send us a vicar, another auxiliary bishop, this time I don’t know how we are going to be the holidays of Esquipulas and we are without him, ”said Father Carlos Zuniga during mass.

After fulfilling the homily a few hours later he learned of the death of the Bishop of the Diocese of Siuna, Monsignor David Alvin Zywiec Sydor at the Alejandro Dávila Bolaños military hospital.
