Un rally de cuatro carreras en el cierre del octavo episodio, le bastó a los Indios del Bóer para remontar y terminar derrotando 4×2 a los Tigres de Chinandega en el primer duelo de su llave de semifinales disputado en el Estadio Dennis Martínez.

Sin decisión quedó la faena monticular que durante siete episodios bordó el diestro Jesús Garrido quien fue el abridor de la tropa occidental. Tras recibir imparable de Bismarck Rivera en el primer episodio, retiró a 14 bateadores en fila hasta que otorgó boleto a Javier Robles en el quinto.

Los Tigres golpearon primero ante el Juan Bermúdez el abridor de los capitalinos. Calos Pérez se embasó por infield hit y sería remolcado por cuadrangular de Enmanuel Meza a todo lo largo del jardín derecho.

Fue todo el daño que permitió Bermúdez que laboró 5.2 innings de 4 hits y 2 carreras limpias. Por su parte el 2×0 de ventaja fue suficiente al menos para Garrido que durante los 7 episodios esparció 3 hits, otorgó 2 boletos y ponchó a 6.

EL BÓER REMONTA

Tras el daño del cuadrangular de Meza, Bermúdez, Norman St Clair y Jimmy Bermúdez se encargaron de frenar a la ofensiva chinandegana que lució estéril en la recta final del encuentro.

Juan Urbina recibió boleto intencional, Wiston Dávila ligó de hit al derecho remolcando a Vásquez con la del empate y explotando a Martínez.

Alvaro Rubí recibió a Nelson León con largo doble a lo profundo del izquierdo remolcando a Urbina y Dávila con las carreras 3 y 4 para el Bóer culminando así la remontada.

Jimmy Bermúdez en relevo se acreditó la victoria y Joseph Martínez también en calidad de relevo fue el derrotado. El segundo juego de la serie se disputará en Chinandega el lunes 20 de julio a partir de las 6 de la tarde.

Boer goes back and hits first against Chinandega at the start of the semifinals

Alvaro Rubí received Nelson León with a long double to the bottom of the left, towing Urbina and Dávila with runs 3 and 4 for Bóer, thus completing the comeback.
